DNS not resolving

You can reach the internet by raw IP address, but turning names like example.com into addresses is failing. Your DNS server is unreachable, misconfigured, or hijacked.

What to try

1. Reboot your router.
2. Try a public DNS resolver (e.g. 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8) in your Wi-Fi settings.
3. Toggle Wi-Fi off and on to pick up DNS settings again.
4. If on a VPN, try disconnecting it.
