Internet unreachable (router OK)

Your router is responding, but nothing beyond it can be reached. The fault is upstream of your router - typically your modem or your internet provider (ISP).

What to try

1. Reboot your modem (and router) and wait a few minutes.
2. Check your ISP's status page or app for a reported outage.
3. Confirm the cable/fibre/DSL line into your modem is connected.
4. If on cellular, you may simply be in an area with no data service.
