Router not responding

Your device has a network address and knows its router, but the router is not answering. The problem is on your local network - the router itself or the link to it.

What to try

1. Reboot your router and wait a minute for it to come back up.
2. Move closer to the router to rule out a weak signal.
3. Check that other devices on the same network are also affected.
4. If wired, reseat the ethernet cable and adapter.
